Fantastic. Menu is vast, service first class and friendly. We went on Wednesday so pretty quiet (belly dancing Fridays and Saturday). Features traditional drink raki and EFES beers. Mixed meat platter just brilliant and Turkish coffee with Turkish Delight ends the experience nicely. Heartily recommended. Mobility friendly. 1 entree, 1 beer, 1 raki, 2 mains, mixed sweets and Turkish coffee for $169 (Feb 2026) is pretty good.
Mado is one of my favourite restusrants in Brisbane. The food is always exceptional and the atmosphere is great. Friday and Saturday night there is a belly dancer who is amazing to watch. I've eaten here about 12 times and never been disappointed . Do yourself a favor and try the mixed dip platter for an entree. It's so yummy! As a vegetarian there's lots of options on the menu. I highly recommend Mado ❤️
This restaurant is the most Authentic Turkish restaurant I have been too since moving to Australia, The service is exceptionally quick and the waitstaff were both friendly, polite and eager to help. The starters are great and flavoursome sharing options when ordering multiple dishes. The halloumi as well as the dip sharing platter which is served with a generous serving of Turkish bread are very tasty options before continuing to main dishes. the chicken breast main was well seasoned, and the rice was full of flavour, paired with the sauces and salad it made for a well balanced meal. At 8pm the Belly dancing entertainment started, a wonderful experience and atmosphere to end the night. Turkish coffee and Cay, washed down a beautiful meal after a fulfilling meal and night! Amazing job guys! We will be back

One of the best Turkish restaurant's we have found in Brisbane. Great location in Southbank, friendly and fast service with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a great vibe been busy due to the quality of food/service. Started with a mixed dips with Turkish bread, definitely home made dips with four different flavours to please everyone and the homemade Turkish bread was spot on. Shared a Lamb Shish (Kuzu Sis) for the main, the lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. Overall, very reasonably prices and definitely we will be back to try a few different dishes on the menu.
We had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed it so much! The atmosphere was great too, especially with the beautiful belly dance show that made the evening even more special. Highly recommend this Turkish restaurant! We will come back for sure! We had such an amazing experience at Mado! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered the lamb cutlets with rice, salad, and bread — the meat was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The eggplant with chicken and warm bread was creamy and smoky, a real standout dish. We also tried Ayran, their traditional Turkish yogurt drink, and Gazoz, a refreshing Turkish lemonade — both were the perfect match to our meal. The staff were welcoming, and the Turkish décor made the whole experience feel authentic and warm. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves real Turkish food and great service! ❤️👌🏻
I went to dinner at this Turkish restaurant and had a great experience overall. It was easy to understand why the place has such high ratings. The 8 p.m. show is an essential part of the experience and adds to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of rich Turkish flavors. The service was ok, although the restaurant is quite expensive for the portion sizes.Overall, it was a very good experience and I would still recommend it.
